Hair did

Well I got my hair done. They always seem to cut it shorter than I ask. Just wanted a slight trim on the bottom and to trim the layers. This resulted in a whole new style of layers and shorter hair. Oh well. I also had some highlights and lowlights added in. You can notice the highlights but the lowlights I think are to close to my natural color. In their fancy salon light you could see the shine of the lowlights and they had a slight reddish hue. Boo. I hate red on me. But all in all everythings looks good. I think I will also invest in a nice hair straightener. My hair naturaly gets puffy. Imagine the first picture with more poof and slight frizz on the lower half of my hair. Plus my hair has a small amount of wave (thanks to my dad who used to grow a fro yo).

I think next time I get my hair did (arizona) I will ask to dye it all a nice chocolate brown color :D Of course it has to wait till arizona when I get a nice tan going lol. I have naturaly pale skins (thanks mom).

So the adventure at the hair salon in town only reminded me how much I yern for living in the states again. My stylist did not talk to me once other than asking questions related to my hair. Seriously. The whole time (3 1/2hrs) she just talked with the other hair stylist in German, who was lingering watching her do my colors. So of course I had no idea what they were even talking about. I dont' expect them to translate for me their conversations but I guess i'm used to my co-workers translating for me. Perhpas they hate how most americans don't learn German so thats their way of getting back at us?

I've decided to make an appointment for Buster with the Vet in Trier. Now it's just a matter of getting someone to switch with me as I work that day! Ugh. My boss will not be happy with me. Since they have better vet care there (well more qualified people) i'm going to get a second opinion on his iris cysts. Incase there is something minor they can do to help before we leave that won't affect us flying home. One of his eyes is just getting pretty bad and it's affecting his vision a little. The cysts are taking up half the iris now. Seriously sucks. This causes more volume in the eye and the eye bulges a little more than the other eye. The other eye is still only filled a quarter of the way so his vision is still ok in that one. But he paws at his eyes alot more and rubs them in the floor. Sucks. I hope it's something someone can eventually take care of.

So that motivation I had going yesterday to tackle a bunch of chores? Yea it's gone. I lost sometime after my hair appointment lol. Damnit. The fact it's so dark and gloomy out just makes me want to sit on the couch all day watching 'Drop Dead Diva' (an ok show). Hopefully by lunchtime i'll get a spark to want to do something.
